There's no reason to leave your fur baby behind, or outside, when you want to enjoy a drink or sample some of the South Coast's best cuisine. The legendary Jamberoo Pub is a true blue Aussie institution from a bygone era, and it allows dogs not only in the outdoor beer garden but also inside, right at the bar! Just Delicious cafe is a great place to relax and rejuvenate after a run around in Berry, with a large outdoor shaded verandah, water bowls for dogs, and even a safe-to-drink 'puppycino' on the menu. The South Coast's wine country isn't off limits to canines, either: Cupitt's Winery welcomes dogs with open arms and offers a huge play area and spectacular views, while world-class vineyard Cambewarra Estate even lets you bring your dog for cellar door tastings.
As well as all the beautiful natural scenery and nature walks to explore along the South Coast, there's more than a handful of quirky, crafty towns worth a dog-friendly visit. The twice-monthly Uladulla Harbour Markets at the wharf in Uladulla have made this picturesque South Coast seaside town something of a destination for dog owners in the area, who are welcome to bring their dogs to browse the stalls or play in the park. The dog-friendly Kiama Farmer's Market taking place every Wednesday at Coronation Park, just off Surf Beach, offers a chance to taste local cheeses, wines, fresh fruits and veggies, not to mention visit Kiama's numerous local art galleries and craft shops.
