The Lilly Pilly Gully walk is in Wilsons Promontory National Park. This walking trail is just 5.8km long and is ideal for the whole family. The trail passes through a shaded gully on a wide, flat, concrete path which is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Along the way, you can look out for kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, and other Australian wildlife often spotted in the cool parts of the gully. Take a slow walk and stop for a picnic along the way if you have very young children.
Older children can go snorkelling or scuba diving in Wilsons Promontory Marine Park. This paradise for divers features underwater granite cliffs that are home to a wide variety of sea life. There are a number of dive operators in the area, so you should be able to find a dive time and level that suits your requirements. There are also tour boats that go past the offshore islands in the park, which are home to fur seals, little penguins, and Pacific gulls.
