The three-day long Thredbo Blues music festival is organised in late summer and is one of the most popular music festivals in regional Australia. Held all over Thredbo village, it draws talent from across the country. The festival is as renowned for its music as its scenic locations. This includes the Eagles Nest restaurant at the Thredbo Chairlift – considered Australia's highest restaurant. If you are here in summer, then do take a hike to Mount Kosciusko, the country's highest peak.
