The most direct way from Perth CBD is to take the Brand Highway to Geraldton, then switch onto the North West Coastal Highway to Northampton. From there, turn left onto Port Gregory Road and follow the coastal route through Port Gregory and Wagoe Beach before arriving in Kalbarri. Alternatively, take the scenic route from Perth to Northampton, via Indian Ocean Drive. Then, head inland on the North West Coastal Highway, then the Ajana-Kalbarri Road, passing through beautiful bush on your way into Kalbarri. This scenic option should only add a few more minutes to your drive.

Located opposite the jetty, Gorges Café offers delicious and wholesome fresh food in a tranquil river setting. Don't forget to try their coffee, one of the best in town, and other favourite dishes like fish cakes, juicy gourmet burgers, club sandwiches or Thai beef salad.
