Beach time in Dromana

A visit to Dromana is incomplete without a visit to Dromana Beach, which spans six kilometres. This clean beach, with no algae or rocks, allows for a memorable swimming experience in the turquoise sea. Surfing is only possible here when there are strong westerlies blowing.

The photogenic multi-coloured bathing boxes dotting the beach are a scenic attraction in their own right, as they are all unique. In addition, you have good access to local cafes nearby, and the Dromana Hub Shopping Centre is directly opposite the beach.

For a more adventurous outing, visit French Island Marine National Park, accessible only by boat. Here you can see areas of saltmarsh and mangrove, go bird watching, or try your hand at fishing, sea kayaking, snorkelling, or scuba diving.
