Comfortable bed (thats important to me!) very friendly and helpful hosts, a fantastic swimming pool that was incredible clean, no horrible chlorine eyes, it was like swimming in freshwater. There is a nearby nature reserve, and we had the good fortune of seeing several rare birds and butterflies from the poolside of 'our' house! The house itself, and surrounding area was very clean and we had a very relaxing and happy time. Thank you - it was like a spa retreat!

We were pleasantly surprised by the reception from the hosts in this charming holiday home. The owners did not spare kindness and warmth during our stay. Wherever in the house and the garden we looked we noticed the degree of love and care that the owners have given. Every detail or feature was done with thought and love. We were touched by the owners' welcome and kindness throughout the stay. Probably the best ever experience in a holiday home.

We had a very nice stay at the Domaine de Montour. The house has offered enough space for our five-member family and is absolutely quiet. We had very sunny weather and could always eat in the garden with a view of five cows grazing behind the fence. The starry sky was also impressive for us city dwellers every night. The house is a very good starting point for excursions to Chinon with its impressive castle and wine cellars or to Anger or to the countless beautiful castles of the Loire Valley. Our favourite castle: Azay-le-Rideau. The communication was always very friendly and thanks to the translation app no hurdle. Thank you

Gite with a huge amount of character located in the perfect spot to explore the chateau’s of the Loire. Chinon is a lovely town and only 5 mins away yet the gite is so quiet. Great host, on hand if you need anything otherwise completely private. The garden was perfect for our dog and also had a private garden.

What a find. When searching online for holiday accommodation this is just what we had been looking for. The property and host were first class. There were a few issues but at the price charged not worth listing. The pool was clean and well equipped. The location is a little remote but a great experience of living in a French rural setting. The hosts do not speak English but this had no impact on our stay as they were so welcoming and friendly. we can highly recommend this property.
